The Alfama Sunset tour Lisbon is a unique walking experience!
Starting from Comercial Square, in the downtown of Lisbon, this walk will go gradually up to the hills, to reach the highest view point with panoramic and stunning views of the sunset.
On the way, you will discover the amazing history of Alfama, the arab quarter and the oldest part of the city, by walking through narrow and winding streets. Alfama is a charming maze full of locals and delicious ginga drinks! Of course, we must try one shot in a chocolate cup, delicious! Also Alfama is very important due to the Fado music which was born there and even now days still happening during the nigths. You can not miss this out!
After this first hill with full of surprises and viewpoints, music and anecdotes about different civilizations occupying this hill, we move on to a more quiet area called Graça with a beautiful miradouro that means viewpoint. This one is showing another part of the city, impressive!
We continue the experience walking along the local area, whit beautiful buldings and the local atmosphere before getting to the sunset. All the way up we will reach to Senhora do Monte, the highest view point with a panoramic view of Lisbon with hopefully a glorious sunset full of colours on the sky. The emblematic simbols of the city, the bridge and the Christ. History, beauty and relaxing time to enjoy this unique moment while the sun sets down and the Lisbon night gets light up by thousands of colorful lamps.
From the top of the hill we will go down to reach the center of Lisbon, Rossio square. This walk will be super easy and also interesting as you will see a different view of Lisbon, with other local people and less touristic areas. Full experience!
