This adventure covers a lovely walk to the top of Almada hill where the Sanctuary of Cristo-Rey is based with stunning views to Lisbon.

If you want to experience Lisbon from a uniquely personal perspective, just like how your best friend would show you a city - then go for it!! If on the other hand you like more the impersonal, tour-bus style crowded guided tours, then this is definitely not for you. It’s also very active, we biked around a lot! :))

Wow! Where do I begin? Angela is a wonderful human who will make you feel at home from the moment you meet her. The experience felt like I was meeting up with an old friend. I was so grateful to have her company and expert commentary as we walked along the streets of Alfama and Graca. I was impressed by her ability to withhold so much history, her effortless delivery and storytelling and her sense of direction. I had so much fun! I booked this experience on my very last day and it was an incredible send off. I also now have a list of places I want to explore further the next time I am in Lisbon. After the tour we had dinner and drinks at an incredible Portuguese spot. Bummed I didn’t meet Angela at the beginning of my journey in Lisbon, but look forward to our paths crossing again in the future. You must book this tour to get the most out of your time in Alfama/Graca —1000% recommend!
